Joe Wilson Lied, too
We shouldn’t be surprised… it’s just another in a long line of fabrications and obfuscations designed by the left to undermine President Bush in the months leading up to the election.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, Joe Wilson is the slob who claimed that the Bush Administration ignored his findings that Iraq had not tried to purchase uranium from Niger. Wilson then claimed that his CIA’s wife’s cover was blown by a leaking White House official.
As it turns out, and as the Washington Post reports, Wilson lied. Hang on to your hat … I know it’s hard to believe that someone would actually lie in order to make the President look bad. Rather, according to the Post:
The panel found that Wilson's report, rather than debunking intelligence about purported uranium sales to Iraq, as he has said, bolstered the case for most intelligence analysts. And contrary to Wilson's assertions and even the government's previous statements, the CIA did not tell the White House it had qualms about the reliability of the Africa intelligence that made its way into 16 fateful words in President Bush's January 2003 State of the Union address.
But we aren’t hearing about this on the networks, are we?

I have a similar article at http://www.presidentreagan.info/writings/joe_wilson_lying_weasel.cfm as do many others.
Once again right-thinking bloggers lead the way when the liberal media drops the ball!
BTW-The Reality Hammer Blog is produced in Centerville. I'm sure I'll see you at some Bush events this summer.
I have to admit that Brett's write up is much better than mine, and I'd encourage everyone to visit Reality Hammer for some excellent commentary.
